Egan Company is seeking candidates for an Associate Account Manager position located in Champlin, MN, to join our team! The Associate Account Manager is responsible for supporting customers and direct project oversight for Account Managers, focused on fire & security.
Direct support to Service Account Managers.
Facilitate proposals to customers for repairs and small projects – under the direction of the assigned Account Manager.
Manage components of Service projects to include:
Coordinate manpower with Dispatch and Labor Manager
Purchase and track equipment and materials
Obtain proper licensing, permitting, and insurance
Schedule subcontractors
Kickoff meeting with assigned Technician
Startup documentation
Warranty registration
Perform service deliverable review
Conduct site surveys, work with support staff to create preventative maintenance proposals, coordinate labor for best results with Dispatch Coordinators, and manage jobs as needed.
Maintain exceptional communication and time management skills in a high-paced, customer service environment.
Establish relationships with end-users, key contractors, and engineers.
Promote all service offerings: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building automation, fire, security systems, and monitoring.
Approve accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
Attend sales and other required meetings.
Attend monthly safety lunches and perform safety audits to promote a Stay Safe culture.
Use CRM software to manage opportunities, customer communications, and track sales activities.
Visit jobsites and customer sites regularly.
All other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.
2+ years of sales or sales-related experience, preferably within mechanical, electrical, or limited energy.
Working knowledge of estimating processes and procedures.
Ability to present to both internal and external groups.
Ability to learn and promote other areas of the business.
Proficient in the use of standard office computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Strong organizational skills and ability to deal with competing customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong desire to grow professionally and to learn and retain technical information.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Performance of duties will be in the office, at customer sites, and job sites as needed.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements are to be expected on job sites.
Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are to be expected on job sites.

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus. This position is eligible for an auto allowance and gas card. In addition, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through a commission/incentive program.
